Here is the rest of what I received in my latest Sportlots order.
It’s just a few Ginter inserts:
This is a recovery day for me.
After a weekend full of copious amounts of fun, family, football, and food, I find myself in recovery mode. I love my family to death but they can be downright exhausting. Add to that some drinking, a lot of eating, and some really exciting football games and now I feel like a need a day of calm to prepare myself mentally for getting back to the normal daily grind (but now with a Christmas setting everywhere).
Luckily I got a nice gift in the mail this weekend. Read the rest of this entry →
Like many of you collectors out there, I have used different avenues when purchasing singles. I have used Ebay but sometimes the shipping costs are killer. I have used COMC but most of the time the singles are a little overpriced along with the shipping cost. I have also used Just Commons which is a great place to find a deal but the selection leaves a lot to be desired.
I finally tried out SportLots for the first time and so far the experience was pleasant. They have a huge catalog of cards and if you can manage to buy from one seller, shipping cost is very cheap. My only gripe with the site is that the user interface and search function could use some fine tuning to make it more convenient for buyers to search for cards from the same seller.
